PAeHI Chair Message

Martin Ciccocioppo, Chair - PAeHI

As Chair of the Board of PAeHI, I wanted to share the board's recent decision to temporarily scale back PAeHI activities in order to support the efforts of the PA eHealth Partnership Authority, an organization that aligns with PAeHI's approach of stakeholder involvement and shares a common mission of improving patient care through the effective use of health information technology.

Effective July 1, 2014, PAeHI returned to operation as a largely volunteer organization governed by a smaller five-person Latent Board of Directors.

Since PAeHI has sufficient financial resources to support our more limited activity in the coming year, no membership dues will be assessed for the 2014-2015 membership year. The PAeHI.org web site will continue to be supported, however, All Committee Meetings will be suspended until further notice. PAeHI encourages existing and prospective members/stakeholders to explore opportunities to engage in the success of the Authority by visiting paehealth.org.

Why PAeHI?

PAeHI leads a multi-stakeholder entity which is aligned to provide HIT leadership in the Commonwealth.

PAeHI serves as the statewide resource for objective, accurate information about HIT and provides a vital forum for healthcare stakeholders to make others aware of their activities and to share their successes and barriers.

PAeHI works to encourage partnerships between public authorities, not-for -profits and the private sector.
