Membership Chair Dear Colleague:
We are anticipating more great things in the coming year 2011-2012. Building on federal and state HIT initiatives, this year, PAeHI has several projects that continue to provide leadership, clarity, and collaboration namely:
- Partnering with the Pennsylvania Regional Extension Centers (PA-REACH)
- Expertise and project support for the PA Department of Health and the State Immunization Information System (PA-SIIS)
- Close collaboration with state, regional, and local HIE initiatives
- Joining with CPAHIMSS for an Annual HealthCare IT Summit discussing the future of Accountable Care Organizations: Health Information Technology Enabling ACO's in PA
- PAeHI's HIE White Paper on Sustainability has received national attention and has been recognized by HIMSS to be included in the 2011 summer issue of JHIM
Please consider membership and encourage your colleagues to do so as well as we strive to identify the best opportunities for the citizens of Pennsylvania in these historic times. Each member organization and individual brings a unique expertise and point-of-view that contributes to our success.
