  at the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Harrisburg, PA.  The dates are as follows:

The primary purpose of the meeting was to share the latest information on important happenings and trends in HIT, as well as provide an opportunity for all PAeHI committees to work on important deliverables for the next quarter. Please review the attached agenda for more information.

PAeHI All Committee Event Sponsorship Information

PAeHI holds quarterly all-day statewide meetings of its membership at the PA Medical Society headquarters in Harrisburg at which the organization provides a variety of speakers and panels to discuss and educate around important HIT-related topics of the day (please above for meeting dates).  In addition, breakout sessions are held part of the day to provide time for each standing committee to work on deliverables for the next quarter.  These events are open only to current members of PAeHI, and typically host about 120 people from across the Commonwealth and who represent a range of healthcare stakeholders (providers, payers, vendors, consultants, associations, etc.).  Breakfast snacks, lunch, and parking are all provided free of charge.

Each All Committee event is hosted by one corporate sponsor who pays a $2500.00 sponsorship fee.  For their support, sponsors receive recognition in all event marketing materials, verbal recognition during the All-Committee meeting, and coverage in the next quarterly statewide PAeHI Newsletter.  In addition, sponsors are allotted one half hour of presentation time at lunch to highlight their marketplace, product and/or service, preferably through customer case study(ies).

Annual Statewide Health Information Technology Summit

Each year, PAeHI plans to hold a statewide HIT Summit.  In 2009, PAeHI partnered with the PA HIMSS chapters to host the event.  In 2010, PAeHI will be partnering with the PA chapter of the American Health Information Management Association (PHIMA) as part of its Annual Meeting in Hersey, PA.  There will be a variety of sponsorship opportunities available.  Please call PAeHI Executive Director, Mark Stevens, at 717.561.5338 or through e-mail, mstevens@paehi.org.
