(MP3; Duration: 01:23:32, 78.6 MB) Description: Neil Cowles, CEO, Tolven Healthcare Innovations and Tom Jones, M.D., CMO, Tolven Healthcare Innovations met with the Pennsylvania eHealth Initiative Board of Directors on August 23, 2006 to discussion “Open Source Solutions for EHR and HIE.” Tolven open source solutions are based on widely adopted health industry and technical standards. As an open source solution available at www.tolven.org, the Tolven platform and applications can be deployed without purchasing any software licenses. A full complement of components necessary to utilize Tolven solutions are also available through the open source community, including databases, application servers, rules engines and workflow engines.
